Dr. Howard Yoon
Dr. Yoon’s goal is to treat patients with respect and compassion, providing unequaled patient care with a gentle, attentive touch. His passion for learning and dentistry led him to attend McGill University, where he received his Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Commerce, and Dr. Yoon’s of Dental Medicine with Distinction. He continued his education and advanced specialty training, receiving his Advanced Education in General Dentistry certificate at the University of Rochester, then attaining his Masters of Medical Sciences in Oral Biology and completing the Advanced Graduate Program in Endodontics from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where he served as chief resident.
His dedication to improvements in science and dentistry is evident in the numerous research studies he has completed, publishing journals in the European Journal of Neuroscience, Plos One, and Journal of Endodontics and presenting his findings at the American Association of Endodontists. He was a recipient of the Alvin Krakow Award from Harvard University for research in Endodontics.
Dr. Yoon shares his commitment to service and community through his work providing dental care and promoting oral health through outreach programs. He has also worked directly with physically and intellectually disabled patients in Canada to provide free dental treatment.
Staying on top of the latest technology and best practices allows Dr. Yoon to provide exceptional personalized care to his patients. He is a member of American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontists and Royal College of Dentists of Canada. Before moving to the US, Dr. Yoon grew up living in South Korea, Turkey and Canada. In addition to English, he speaks Korean, Japanese, and French. When not with patients, Dr. Yoon is an admirer of the arts, enjoys painting, hiking, and is a fan of professional soccer.
